How do I get paid?

Setting up a payment account with our partner, Stripe, is easy! You’ll find a link to sign up on your profile page in our Lender Portal.

Just follow the steps shown in the video and you’ll be able to receive payments from us in no time. Further details on Stripe and payments below :)

  • We use Stripe as our payment services provider. In order to get paid for rentals for your items, you need to follow these simple steps to create a connected Stripe account with us.

    1. Go to your profile page in our Lender Portal and click on the link to sign up for Stripe. You will jump into Stripe’s signup flow and will next:

    2. Enter your email address

    3. Enter your phone number, receive an sms, and verify the phone number

    4. Choose the type of "business" you are - the default choice of a private business or private person ("Eingetragener Kaufmann / Kauffrau / Kleingewerbetreibender / Freiberufler") is the correct choice and you don't need to modify this.

    5. Add your personal details (name, birthday, address)

    6. Finally, add the details of the bank account you'd like to get paid to

    Congrats, you've now successfully registered your Stripe account and can get paid!

  • We release payments to lenders within 24 hours after a rental event has started. You’ll get a notification from Stripe that a payment has been released. It might take a day or two from the release for the money to reach your bank account.

  • We charge 25% of the rental fee as a commission. This includes listing, rental management, payment management, customer service and a platform fee. In other words, you'll keep 75% of the price of each rental event.
